In the afternoon it's time to visit the medieval castle the Tannenburg, where you will see the life of old. Watch while the old crafts are practiced during the tour, learn to shoot with a bow and arrow and enjoy the authentic drinks and cakes.
The kids will participate in the animation program, while you do the necessary shopping in town. In the afternoon you will go to the outdoor pool and hit the green on the mini golf course.
After breakfast it's time for a good walk in nature. Choose one of the various walking routes and start at your front door with a walk around Nentershausen. Take a lunchbox and enjoy nature. After your return in the afternoon you can take a cooling jump in the outdoor pool in Nentershausen.
Discover the valley of the Werra. You can choose, along or over the Werra in a sportive manner, walking, cycling, on horseback or with a kayak. You can also take the car to Eisenach, where you will first visit the Drachenschluft (Dragons cleft), where you will walk over a boulder path through the 70cm wide canyon. After this you will visit the castle, the Wartburg, where Martin Luther spent a large part of his life, copying the bible.
An early start to visit the city of Kassel. Shopping, visiting museums and a visit to the castles Wilhemshöhe and Löwenburg. A well deserved end of the day with a dinner at the medieval castle the Tannenburg in Nentershausen.
