Reservation of a house
If you are looking for a holiday home, you select the desired arrival and departure date , the number of people and the desired country or region in our menu. With this data only the available properties are displayed. Of course you can also search without a specific date and when you find a holiday home you would like to rent, you can look at the available periods in the calendar or by indicating the date and the number of people. In both cases, you will immediately see the price for that period if available. You can easily book the house in 4 easy steps. You enter correct dates and number of people and you click on the red link: book now! Then you will be directed to our secured booking process.
* At step 1 enter your personal data and/or the number of people in your party. When completed you can proceed to Step 2 by clicking the "continue" button.
* At step 2 you can specify any preferences and extra services, if available (Note: this can not be guaranteed). Furthermore we offer you the possibility to conclude various insurances and you can choose whether your want to get the travel information by post or e-mail and if you want to receive our newsletter. After indicating all the details, proceed to Step 3 by clicking the "continue" button.
* Step 3 is the final step of your reservation. You can read all the applicable house rules / additional conditions of the owner, the conditions of the thuiswinkel.org and branche specific conditions here. If you accept all these you can continue to choose the desired payment method and here you can write an additional remark that may interest the owner (for example the expected time of arrival). Once you have agreed with the terms and conditions, you click the "definate booking" button. This leads you to Step 4.
* At step 4 you get your reservation number and an overview of your data. You can print this page right away. We also offer the possibility to pay online.
Once your reservation has been made, you receive a provisional confirmation by email a.s.a.p. We kindly ask you to confirm your reservation by clicking the link from your mail. In this way we know that you wish to change your option into a definate reservation. The owner of the apartment will receive the confirmation at the same time and will confirm the reservation as well. After we received your confirmation and that of the owner we will send out a definate confirmation of your booking. As soon as we received the (down)payment for the reservation, we will send you the route description.
Our payments options
Bungalow.Net offers you the possibility to pay online. Our Dutch tenants can choose the following payment methods: iDeal, credit card or bank transfer. The tenants from all other countries can pay only by Credit Card or bank transfer. For the online payments we collaborate with Docdata Payments, a site for secure online payments.
# The iDeal payment method cooperates with most banks in the Netherlands, offering you the possibility to pay using your own internet banking. You choose your bank and you are immediately redirected to your bank's log-in page. After you log in and pay, your reservation will be recorded directly as paid. The details of the payment are copied directly from your reservation.
# Paying by Credit Card is the second online payment option. For this you have to fill in your credit card details on the secure website in order to pay. Please note that when you do the down payment by credit card, the second payment is NOT automatically debited (Paying with a credit card involves extra costs).
# Another payment method is by bank transfer. This way you are free to choose the way you order your bank to transfer the payment to Bungalow.Net. After booking you receive an invoice with our account details. Do not forget to mention your reservation number when paying. (Please note that a payment done by regular bank transfer process takes between 3 and 8 days to be processed, for this reason you may be asked to send a receipt.)
What to do in case of problems on the spot
Although our holiday houses are described in detail on our website and the landlords pay attention to maintain them in good condition, the situation that the house is not entirely to your satisfaction may occur. If you encounter this kind of problems on spot, you must first notify the owner, key holder or the receptionist. Many problems can be immediately solved by them. We kindly ask you to inform us as well. If you have not found solutions to those problems, please contact Bungalow.Net, within 24 hours after arrival. You can reach us from Monday to Saturday from 8.30 until 23.00 on the phone number +31 (0) 38 333 01 01. As soon as you call us, we try to find a solution to your complain. Please give the landlord at least 24 hours to solve your problems. Note that we can help you only on spot, not afterwards. If there were not found proper solutions to your complaint, you may write us (by post or info@bungalow.net). Bungalow.Net always send you an acknowledgment for the mail received. You get an answer from us within 14 days from the day we have received your mail. Bungalow.Net thereby acts as an intermediary between tenant and landlord and will handle the complaint objectively. If there could not be found an agreement, then the tenant may appeal to the Arbitration Board of the Thuiswinkel Waarborg.
